Bulawayo Abuzz with Restoration Work

The latest enterprise to join the multitudes of partners in Community restoration is Group Five, a South African road construction company.

The project stretches for an estimated 801km at a cost of US$206 million.

This regional road making giant decided to embark on a resurfacing exercise within “The City of Kings” as a gesture of goodwill and to test drive its state-of-the-art recycling equipment. The company is working on selected portions of Old Gwanda Road and Cecil Avenue in Matsheumhophe residential area.

When the ZDDT team paid a visit to one of the sites, it found a detachment of Group Five experts, technicians and equipment, busy at work. Without disrupting the progress, the ZDDT team was accorded the golden opportunity to photograph the work in progress and capture the crème de la crème at work.
