Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. The Australian Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Mr Matthew Neuhaus, has sung the praises of ZDDT, saying the Trust is unique in its operations in that it empowers people from grassroots level and uses a plethora of platforms to achieve its goals.

Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Armed with the realisation that communal areas in Matabeleland, which are a “Treasure trove” of wildlife, Mark Butcher and his colleagues established a safari company with the sole aim of ensuring that local villagers fully benefit from the natural resources in their communities.

Gwanda, Zimbabwe. ZDDT is in the process of establishing itself in the rural community of Gwanda and has therefore partnered with another Civil Society Organisation (CSO), Souls Comfort, in a development that will see the proper implementation of ZDDT's interventions in the provincial capital of Matabeleland South.
