Tourism Industry Rakes in $700 mln
The tourism industry has raked in between $700 mln and $800 mln so far this year, Zimbabwe Tourism Authority chief executive Karikoga Kaseke has said adding the money was derived from expenditure of tourists who visited the country since the beginning of the year. Zimplats Posts $65 mln Profit
Zimplats recorded an operating profit of $65 mln for the quarter ended March 31, 2013, representing a 26% increase over the same period last year. Revenue for the period under review was also higher by 32%, compared with the prior period, while operating costs were up 36 percent from last year.
