Two visually impaired residents of Ward 5, Mrs. Mlotshwa and Mrs. Ndlovu, have received essential medical assistance through the ZDDT Business Social Credit Scheme, courtesy of the Sally Foundation and Chematek Lubricants.
The donation comes as a lifeline for the two women, who both suffer from impaired vision that, when untreated, leads to temporary blindness and severe migraines.
Ward 5 Councillor, Mrs. Musuka, personally handed over the support offered and expressed heartfelt gratitude.
“I would like to sincerely thank the Sally Foundation, Chematek Lubricants and ZDDT for reaching out to these vulnerable members of our community. This intervention brings dignity, hope and, most importantly, (better) health back into their lives,” she said.

Both beneficiaries were overcome with appreciation. “The medication is expensive, and I was going without," shared Mrs. Mlotshwa.
Mrs. Ndlovu added, “At times, the pain is unbearable. This support has come at just the right moment."
The ZDDT Business Social Credit Scheme continues to respond to urgent needs across Bulawayo’s impoverished communities, restoring hope and good health where it’s needed most.
