Hwange in Bid To Double Output
Hwange Colliery Company Limited has invited bids for the provision of contract mining services as the coal mining firm seeks to more than double production.

Namibia Investors Eye Zimbabwe Tourism Industry
The Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce will next week host the Zimbabwe Namibia business forum which is expected to foster trade and investment promotion activities between the two countries.
The business forum is expected to take place from October 21 to 24 in Harare. ZNCC deputy president Davison Norupiri said the NCCI will lead a business delegation to Zimbabwe of up to 20 representatives from 15 companies from different sectors.
Norupiri said Namibian companies have expressed interest in tourism, farming, aquaculture, food processing, mining, manufacturing and brick plants export market for cement, crocodile farming, transport and logistics, investments, import and export, construction and retail among others - NewsDay Thursday October 17
Vic Falls Hotel's Livingstone Room Seventh Best
The Livingstone Room at The Victoria Falls Hotel has been named one of the world's top hotel restaurants by a respected international cuisine and dining website, the only Zimbabwean eatery to make the list and one of only five venues on the African continent to be listed.
The Daily Meal is a widely read website and blog that highlights cuisine, dining and related issues and last year started a 101 Hotel Restaurants of the World list to recognise and reward "establishments that have proven to stand out as excellent destinations for a memorable meal . . . with impressive dishes".
In this year's list the top-rated restaurant is a small venue called "e" and is situated in The Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas, United States. The Livingstone Room appears at number seven on the list, a remarkable showing with the nearest African restaurant being a Moroccan one listed at 32.
