ZDDT Training Effective – CAT Leaders

This came to light after ZDDT Provincial Development Officer and Field Correspondent noted the commendable manner in which they were chairing Zone Meetings.

“We are glad to be presented with the opportunity to practise the Meeting Skills that we acquired from the training in Njube. This helps us to build confidence and properly manage meetings,” said Thandiwe Nkiwane, the CAT Leader for Ward 25.

ZDDT also realised that the CAT members, who had been chosen to attend Full Council Chamber Meetings, exhibited quality skills such as recording the proceedings during the Policy Makers’ Assembly.

They also displayed confidence when presenting their findings.

This reveals the impact of ZDDT’s objectives of emboldening communities to hold leadership to account, thereby enhancing sound leadership development at grassroots level.
