ZDDT business credit scheme helps bereaved widow



Thando Masuku, the affected person, recently lost her husband. Coming from an extremely financially disadvantaged background, she did not have the means to meet funeral expenses.

On hearing about Mrs. Masuku’s plight, Cllr. Matengu approached ZDDT for assistance, since he was aware that the Trust, in cooperation with businesses in the city, operates an initiative known as the Business Social Credit Scheme, (BSCS).

Making remarks in appreciation of the kind gesture, Cllr. Matengu said. “We as a ward wish to deeply thank all benefactors involved in this charitable act.

This donation will surely go a very long way towards assisting Thando with funeral costs.” ABUZ (Association of Business in Zimbabwe), are major contributors to the BSCS initiative.
