Church Embraces Greenfield Garden

The local Anglican church has been a staunch supporter of Greenfield Garden, a community market garden complex located in amongst residential housing in Emganwini in Bulawayo’s west.

The church has been purchasing all their vegetables for all their functions, exclusively from the garden.

Mrs. Shoko, a member of the church, mentioned that they choose to buy only from the garden to show their support for the community-based initiative.

The reason behind their dedication lies in the garden's reputation for giving back to the community in times of need. Whenever there is a funeral, the garden provides water and other forms of assistance, ensuring that the grieving families are taken care of.

This act of kindness and community support is what motivates the church to continue their unwavering support for Greenfield Garden.
