Students of the Geraldine Roche Arts Academy were buzzing with excitement as they prepared for their very first theatre production at Hillside College.
The edutainment show was a culmination of months of hard work, dedication, and passion poured into rehearsals and preparations by the pupils. As the curtains rose on the stage, the audience was transported into a world of laughter, emotion, and valuable life lessons.
The play resonated deeply with the majority youth audience present at Hillside College. Through clever storytelling and engaging performances, the trainees managed to not only entertain but also impart important messages and morals to the spectators. Mrs. Moyo, one of the attendees, expressed her appreciation for the performance, highlighting how crucial it was to see such productions amidst the pervasive influence of social media promoting negative values and beliefs among the youth.
The artists’ expertise in acting shone through as they flawlessly portrayed their characters and delivered powerful dialogues. It was evident that their growth and development as performers were a direct result of the invaluable lessons they had imbibed during their time at the Geraldine Roche Arts Academy.
As the final applause echoed through the auditorium, it was clear that this first theatre production was not just a showcase of talent but a testament to the transformative power of arts education in shaping young minds and instilling positive values.
