In a heartwarming initiative, the Business Social Credit Scheme recently visited Vutshwa settlement in Ward 2, located on the outskirts of Bulawayo, to provide much-needed support to two vulnerable elderly individuals.

This visit not only highlighted the spirit of the community but also showcased the collaborative efforts between local authorities and charitable organisations.

Present at the handover were Ward 2 Councillor Mr Moyo and Mr Sibanda from the Social Welfare Department, who played a vital role in vetting the recipients. Their dedication to ensuring that aid reaches those most in need is commendable and greatly appreciated by the community.

The beneficiaries expressed immense gratitude for the support they received, which will undoubtedly make a significant and positive difference in their lives. The proactive involvement of local leaders demonstrates a strong commitment to uplifting those who are often overlooked.

A special thank you goes out to the Sally Foundation and Chematek Lubricants for their generous monthly donations that fund these initiatives. Their unwavering support is crucial in making these acts of kindness possible, bringing hope and comfort to those who require it most.

As we celebrate this wonderful collaboration, let us continue to foster a sense of community spirit and support for our elderly citizens. Together, we can make a difference!
