In an educational visit to Founders High School, Mike Roche of the Sally Foundation witnessed the transformative impact of the Geraldine Roche Arts Academy (GRAA) high school film production initiative.
The programme, designed to nurture young talent in film production, is empowering students to channel their passion for drama into the art of filmmaking.
During the visit, Mike Roche engaged with enthusiastic students and observed GRAA Level 2 students in action as assistant facilitators exchanged ideas with lead facilitator Mr. Mlibazi, who also serves as the Arts Schools Inspector for the Bulawayo region.

The High School Film programme, now active in three schools, aims to provide grassroots-level opportunities for students to learn film production and storytelling.
"This initiative is about unlocking creativity and giving young people the tools to tell their stories," said Mike Roche. "It’s inspiring to see these students growing into confident filmmakers."
The GRAA continues to expand its reach, fostering a new generation of artists across Bulawayo.
