A recent learning visit by Green Gardens and Hlanganani members opened the door to new ideas, fresh inspiration, and practical farming innovation.
The exchange created an opportunity for gardeners to experience first-hand how modern agricultural systems can improve productivity and sustainability. What they discovered during the visit is expected to positively influence how they approach farming back home.
Gardeners from Green Gardens and Hlanganani recently visited Family Harvest Village on an educational exchange tour aimed at strengthening their agricultural knowledge and practical skills.
The visit provided members with a valuable opportunity to observe how greenhouse farming is managed, from crop arrangement and irrigation systems to temperature control and plant maintenance.

Participants engaged actively with hosts at the village, asking questions and sharing experiences in a collaborative learning environment focused on improving productivity and sustainability.
The exchange visit was described as both inspiring and informative, with gardeners gaining hands-on insights they hope to apply within their own projects back home. Members expressed excitement at seeing modern farming techniques being implemented successfully and highlighted the importance of learning directly from other successful community-based agricultural initiatives.
The experience is expected to contribute toward improving local production methods, enhancing food security, and encouraging innovation among the gardeners.
