Geraldine Roche Drama recently commenced its exciting new programme at the Academy of Music, with selected students eager to learn and develop their skills in the field of theatre, film and drama.
One of the leading tutors in Bulawayo, affectionately known as Auntie Thandie, introduced the programme and commented on its potential impact on the local arts industry.
The launch of the recently established Geraldine Roche Drama Arts Academy has been met with enthusiasm from both the students and the tutors. Fifteen young people have enrolled in the programme, demonstrating their commitment to honing their skills in theatre, film and drama.
This is with the hope that, after completing their course and receiving their certificates, they will stand a better chance to pursue a successful career.
They expressed their excitement and eagerness to learn, with many stating that they want to develop their skills to become better artists in the industry.
