Horticultural School Kicks Off

In an ongoing initiative to empower individuals with agricultural knowledge and skills, ZDDT's Horticultural School has officially commenced operations at Sizinda’s Green Garden in the west of Bulawayo's sprawling townships.

This season’s intake includes five students, one in a wheelchair, showcasing inclusivity and accessibility to education.

The primary objective of the ZDDTs Horticultural School is to equip students with essential agricultural knowledge, skills, and techniques to provide a platform for success in what is a difficult profit-making career.

By offering practical training and theoretical education, the school aims to empower individuals to become successful farmers and contribute to the agricultural sector’s growth and sustainability within their communities.

One of the most notable aspects of the ZDDTs Horticultural School is its commitment to inclusivity.
