ZDDT's Business Social Credit Scheme Delivers Again

  • Written by: Gary Howes

Recently, ZDDT's Business Social Credit Scheme made a significant donation to families in Ward 15, Cowdray Park, demonstrating the power of collaboration and compassion.

Councillor Mhlanga, alongside his dedicated team of resident and section leaders, as well as Mrs Sibanda from BCC Social Welfare, conducted thorough due diligence to ensure that the proceeds from this generous scheme reached the most deserving families.

Their efforts reflect a true commitment to uplifting our community members who face challenging circumstances.

The selected families each included individuals grappling with mental health challenges who required medication but were unable to afford it. Both households are led by elderly caregivers with limited means of earning a living and the additional care of five children at different age groups.

The impact of this donation cannot be understated; it not only provides essential medical support but also brings hope and dignity to those who have been struggling so silently.

This initiative exemplifies how collective efforts can make a real difference in people's lives.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Sally Foundation and Chematek Lubricants, who fund the initiative on a monthly basis, and also to Councillor Mhlanga, Mrs Sibanda, and all those involved in making this donation possible.

As we celebrate this successful event, we encourage everyone in our community to continue fostering such initiatives that bring relief and joy to those who need it most.

Together, we can create a supportive environment where every individual feels valued and cared for.
