The highly anticipated GRAA (Geraldine Roche Arts Academy) Level 2 programme officially launched its first training session this week, marking a significant milestone for students who have demonstrated exceptional talent in the Level 1 programme.

Designed to nurture the next generation of arts industry leaders, the Level 2 programme offers advanced training in career development, equipping students with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the competitive world of arts.

The inaugural session welcomed a select group of 12 students who stood out during their Level 1 training, showcasing not only their artistic abilities but also their dedication and passion for the arts.

Over the next six months, these talented individuals will delve into every aspect of the arts industry, from performance and production to management and entrepreneurship. The comprehensive curriculum is tailored to ensure students gain a holistic understanding of the diverse career opportunities available within the arts sector.

One of the participating students, Kwanele Masuku, shared their enthusiasm: "Level 1 was an incredible experience, but Level 2 feels like a whole new world. I’m excited to learn more about the business side of the arts and how I can turn my passion into a sustainable career."

The GRAA Level 2 programme is a testament to the academy’s commitment to fostering talent and innovation in the arts. As these students embark on this six-month journey, the arts industry eagerly awaits the fresh perspectives and creative contributions they will bring.
