In an exciting opportunity that bridges education and commerce activity, GRAA Level 2 students recently took part in a professional film shoot hosted by Culture Studio in the scenic Matopos.

The studio, currently producing a new soapie movie, welcomed the emerging talents to not only witness but actively participate in the filmmaking process.

The students were involved in developing monologues, experiencing the demands of working on set and immersing themselves in the real-world environment of film production. The hands-on exposure provided them with a valuable glimpse into their future careers.

Beyond the creative process, the collaboration served as a powerful networking platform. The students engaged directly with seasoned arts industry professionals, gaining insights, mentorship, and, in many cases, invitations to audition for the soapie and upcoming projects.

This opportunity marks a significant milestone for both the students and GRAA. For the budding actors, it was a confidence-building and career-affirming experience. For the academy, it represents a proud moment of recognition, as GRAA continues to establish itself as a hub for nurturing credible, industry-ready talent.
