ZDDT’s Interventions Crucial in Attracting Investment say Bulawayo Community Action Team Leaders


A clean environment is a key focus of such voluntary work. It is in this light that Community Action Team Leaders have acknowledged the Trust’s effectiveness in society, saying its interventions play a key role in attracting investors, and thereby promoting business in the country.

“We are very grateful that ZDDT in conjunction with the Bulawayo City Council (BCC) are doing everything possible to keep the city and the environment clean. This has a massive effect to the extent that even the industrialists feel very happy to operate in a city that has an organisation that works so well with the City Council because, I think industrialists love to work in a clean environment. So ZDDT being coupled with BCC in doing all sorts of development is not only uplifting the Bulawayo community but even the nation as a whole and by attracting investment into the country,” said Ward 9 C.A.T Leader, Mr Moses Dube.

The Local Councillor and CAT perform as ZDDT gateways to the community in implementing all its interventions that revolve around the concept of “Development Democracy”.
