Bulawayo C.A.T Leaders Welcome Motivational Workshop
At the sidelines of the workshop, ZDDT News Correspondent, Ntando Sibanda (NS), caught up with an attendee and Ward 27 C.A.T member, Mrs Charity Moyo (CM), and conducted a brief interview.
Below can be found parts of the interview that followed.
NS: What did you learn from the workshop?
CM: I learnt a lot in this workshop. I learnt that if you are a leader, you should be caring for your community and also that we should have a very good relationship with the communities and the Local Authority and all the stakeholders to made our work easy and interesting.
NS: Would you say this workshop motivated you?
CM: This workshop more than motivated us. From it, we saw what other Wards are doing and it proved to us all that we can do it. I am motivated and I cannot wait to go back to my Ward and share this knowledge with the rest of the residents.
NS: What is your general view of the Trust’s interventions in the communities?
CM: I think these interventions are very relevant to our communities and they have a positive outcome in most of the Wards. I therefore ask that ZDDT continues to work us the neighbourhoods for more positive impact to be realised.
NS: What do you think about ZDDT’s coupling with the Local Authority in all their operations in the communities?
CM: It is a very positive and good idea as it promotes transparency and may they continue to forge and strengthen this relationship.
Charity recently joined voluntary work in the community and is a new member of the Ward 27 C.A.T.
