“At first, this clinic was affected by power-cuts then, through ZDDT, we managed to get a solar lighting system which helped a lot. Before the donation, women used to give birth with the aid of candles and in some extreme cases cell phones. We would love to thank ZDDT for donating these cups and for all their interventions. I am failing to find the appropriate words to thank them. Now, even the ordinary community members are beginning to realise that there is this helpful organisation called ZDDT that is doing wonders in the community. I really appreciate what you (ZDDT) are doing,” said Flora Mutig, the Ward’s CAT Leader.
ZDDT, Borrowdale Brook Rotary Club and e-Club Centenary of London are in involved in a joint venture, which has seen the three stakeholders taking part in the donation of a solar lighting system at the clinic’s maternity ward.
