Bulawayo's Freight Consultants Give W3 Residents a New Beginning Through ZDDT BSCS Scheme
BSCS is a community outreach programme that has united local businesses with the Local leadership and residents.
This month’s first beneficiary was Siphetheni Dube, who is unemployed and relies on selling fruit, vegetables and sweets for a living. She lives with 2 adult children, who are also unemployed and therefore rely on her for survival.
While expressing her gratitude, she said that she wants to sell her wares and raise more money so that she spare $50 that can then be donated to another needy resident.
“I am very grateful for the donation and I will buy more things for resale. I pray to God that I will be able to sell so much that I will come back to ZDDT with another $50 that I will then donate to a needy member of my ward,” said Siphetheni Dube.
The second recipient was Alistair Ndlovu, who lives with his 2 children and 8 nephews and nieces that were left in his care by his late sister.
Alistair is unemployed and does piece jobs to fend for his extended family and he will buy groceries for his family with the donation.
Both recipients were vetted by the local Councillor before being nominated as potential beneficiaries.
This month’s donations were made possible by Freight Consultants, who are a well known shipping and clearing agent based in Bulawayo.
