ZDDT Gardeners Brave the Rain to Enhance Skills

Despite the chilly and rainy weather, selected beneficiaries from the ZDDT group of gardens braved the elements to attend the first Train the Trainer workshop of the year.

The workshop focused on crucial garden management practices during the rainy season, including:

* Optimizing garden production: Participants learned valuable techniques to maximise yields in the prevailing weather conditions.

* Chick rearing in rainy season: Practical advice was shared on effectively raising chickens during this period, considering factors like disease prevention and shelter.

The workshop emphasised the importance of knowledge dissemination. Beneficiaries were encouraged to share the acquired knowledge with fellow gardeners within their respective groups, empowering them to enhance their own gardening practices and increase productivity as the gardens prepare for a season of renewed growth.

This training initiative underscores the commitment of the ZDDT group to supporting its beneficiaries and fostering sustainable agricultural practices within the community.
