The Geraldine Roche Arts Academy’s new intake of students took centre stage at the launch of the Pumula Youth Centre, delivering a captivating performance that left the audience in awe.

The students, who are still in their early stages of training, showcased their budding talent with a hilarious comedy and musical number that emphasized the importance of unity and teamwork in
building stronger communities.

The performance, which combined witty humour, catchy tunes and energetic choreography, had the audience roaring with laughter and applause. The students’ creative approach to addressing serious societal issues through comedy and music was both entertaining and thought-provoking, leaving a lasting impression on attendees.

Mr. Phiri, a member of the audience, praised the performance, saying, "I was truly amazed by the talent and creativity of these young performers. They managed to make us laugh while also reminding us of the power of working together. It’s inspiring to see such young people already making a difference through their art."

The Geraldine Roche Arts Academy, known for nurturing young talent in the performing arts, has high hopes for this new cohort. With two more months of intensive training ahead, the students are expected to refine their skills further and continue to make an impact in their communities.
