Proper Record Keeping Encouraged

The Trust’s Acting PDO and Field Correspondent, Ntando Sibanda, handed over exercise books and ballpoint pens to CAT’s in Zone Meetings recently.

In coordination with community leaders, ZDDT grouped the city’s 29 wards into 6 zones and these clusters assemble monthly, and perform the role of ideas festivals and podia for feedback between the Trust and residents, a basis for community driven action.

Councillors and CAT Leaders, who welcomed the development saying it will go a long way in promoting the proper management of their programmes. Furthermore, it will utilise the stationery to record all their monthly activities and plans prior to presenting them in the Zone Meetings.

“Thank you very much for these books. Now we will be able to formally and properly record and present the progress and any other information pertaining to our activities in our respective wards. This will also make it easy for us to refer to any past projects, grievances and so forth and therefore make it even more easier for us to map a way forward,” said Ward 9 CAT Leader, Mr Moses Dube in the Zone 2 Meeting recently.
