“The child can never be greater than the parent.” That is a never ending debate but, being senior in terms of establishment, gardeners of Sizinda Community Garden showed great eagerness to learn from the success of their younger Emganwini counterparts at a garden exchange hosted by Greenfield Garden.
“I love sewing, and the short sewing course conducted by the Zimbabwe Development Democracy Trust (ZDDT), increased my love, but most importantly it enhanced my passion by adding skill.”

Gardeners of Sizinda community garden have elected a new committee which is will run the affairs of the garden for the next 12months.
Over three hundred hopefuls pitched up to audition for a slot in the short films project being conducted by the Geraldine Roche drama (GRD) as part of efforts to empower and educate local communities in Bulawayo through drama and film.
Statistics released by Famine Early Warning Systems show that at least 37% of the urban populace in Zimbabwe require food aid and this dire situation means that about 1.7 million people in urban areas will go hungry.
