Bulawayo resident, Nicki Pugh of Montessori Zimbabwe, who has embarked on an environmental awareness campaign in the city, has said every day is a clean-up day.
Newly elected councillor for Bulawayo’s Ward 7, Shadreck Sibanda, has hailed the Zimbabwe Development Democracy Trust (ZDDT)’s Business Social Credit Scheme (BSCS), as a step in the right direction towards assisting needy members of the community.

Two elderly persons, Emily Ncube (88) and Samuel Ntuli (82), both of Entumbane Township of Bulawayo, have each received $50 cash donations courtesy of the Zimbabwe Development Democracy Trust (ZDDT)’s Business Social Credit Scheme (BSCS).
It is a dream come true for Zimbabwe Development Democracy Trust (ZDDT)’s latest intern, Tafadzwa Peterson Masviba, who has recently joined the trust as the student, as says he has always wanted to work with the community.
