A total of 60 women from the African Methodist Episcopal Church’s Women Missionary Society (WMS), mobilised themselves and embarked on a clean-up campaign, which saw them clean the EF Watson Clinic, situated in Bulawayo’s Mpopoma Township, in Ward 9.
Betty Sibanda, a Ward 15 Community Action Team member in New Luveve, said the ZDDT/Sally Foundation value-addition cooking programme has given them knowledge that they will use for life as mothers, adding she does not regret having participated in the special training.
“We did not know anything, but now we know.” These were the words of Talita Dlamini, 75, of Ward 19 in Old Pumula, when she gave her testimony on the ZDDT/Sally Foundation value-addition cooking programme in which she participated together with other 15 Community Action Team members.
