Director for the Amazing Stars Arts Academy has said they have benefitted a lot from the more than three years they have been working with ZDDT, taking to the community different messages aimed at empowering residents to make informed decisions as they forge ahead with development in their areas.

On 22 February 2017, over 700 residents participated in a roadshow campaign against gender-based violence, which also promoted hygienic practices in Bulawayo, the country’s second largest city.

In a move that is likely to see the Midlands city of Gweru, once described as one of the dirtiest in the country, becoming clean again, the Gweru City Council purchased a refuse truck after which it launched an anti-cholera and typhoid campaign within a few days.
Residents of the Midlands provincial capital, Gweru, in an act that shows relative responsibility, have committed to clearing their debt with the local authority.
