Bulawayo’s residents are increasingly aware of the Zimbabwe Development Democracy Trust’s (ZDDT) involvement in notable development activities in Pelandaba, Nkulumane and the city centre.
Zimbabwe’s Harare-based Jazz musician, Vengai Kanhema, popularly known as “Vekann”, has this week complemented the community activities implemented by ZDDT.

“I was inspired by the cause of supporting disadvantaged children, hence my contribution to transport Bongo and Nanzile to the programme. I am a primary Counsellor and I am more concerned with the improvement of lives of disadvantaged children.”

In a move that will inspire communities in and around Bulawayo, to commit to the principle, of self-help projects, journalists, have applauded Sizinda nutritional garden, a ZDDT’s success story involving partners, partners, GDG, and the Sally Foundation, both of Australia.
