The Sizinda Community farmers have applauded the official opening of their project by the Australian Ambassador on her visit to Bulawayo recently.
Bulawayo – Lilian Msipawho was turning 80 this month and one of the successful female community farmers as described by her colleagues, passed on last week after she collapsed during the funeral church service of her brother in Bulawayo’s Old Pumula Township.
Zimbabwe’s Harare-based Musician Vengai ‘Vekann’ Kanhema, who last month travelled to Bulawayo to donate clothes and books, praised Sally Foundation for their work in the country.
While it is a good idea for establishment of women empowerment programmes, the recent development in Pumula’s Women Day Care and Nutritional garden has proved the co-operation of both genders can complement the empowerment process.

Bulawayo – Entembeni old people’s home, situated in Bulawayo’s oldest township Luveve, has received a donation from Mike Roche of Sally Foundation Australia this week.
