In an effort to uplift the most vulnerable members of our community, ZDDT (Zimbabwe Development Democracy Trust) continues its collaboration with local Councillors, the city’s Social Welfare Department and businesses who wish to invest in corporate social responsibility programmes.

This partnership aims to provide essential support through the Social Business Credit Scheme initiative, which is designed to provide relief to individuals facing significant challenges.

This month, the initiative successfully vetted and assisted two elderly individuals with disabilities, Mr Mavuye and Miss Phiri, residing in Entumbane, Ward 10.

The handover took place in their homes, highlighting the commitment of local leaders and social workers to identify those in need. Present at this event were Ward 10 Councillor Mrs. Ndlovu and Mrs. Khumalo from the Social Welfare Department, both of whom expressed their gratitude for the support provided by ZDDT.
